Receptionists
Susan
Receptionist
Susan joined our team in September 2001 after working in the Hotel Industry for 20 years. She started as a room tech with no experience but received top-notch training from Erin and our amazing doctors. She learned a multitude of new skills, from drawing blood, placing IVs, giving sub-q fluids, and giving injections. She learned how to hold cats, dogs, and many different exotic pets and learned how to read their personalities and body language. For the last few years, she has been a part of our customer service representative team, still doing what she loves, which is helping clients care for their pets. Susan has three pets of her own. Two cats, Maddie and Ziva, and Letty, a German Shepherd. When not at work, Susan loves spending time with her family and going on trips to national parks.
Cristian
Receptionist
Cristian is a Customer Service Representative who also helps in the area of Animal Care. He brings 4 years of experience to the table in the veterinary industry. At home, Cristian has an old English bulldog names, Lola.
Samantha

Samantha is another friendly face you will see working at our front desk. She loves helping our pet parents set up appointments and explore all the options they have in their pet’s care. Samantha is extremely crafty and loves painting, crocheting, and embroidery. On her days off, she can be found taking spontaneous day trips, reading on the beach, or having craft nights with her friends. Samantha has two cats, a domestic long-haired angel named Bean and a crazy and clumsy orange tabby named Mango. She also has a rescued ball python, Chili, and her newest addition, a rescue dog named Hazel!
Alana
Receptionist
Alana came to us new to the veterinary field but brings a wealth of knowledge in the customer service industry, having been in it since 2006. She is a member of our customer service team and has really enjoyed learning all the aspects of the veterinary industry from her Andover team. When she is not at work, Alana loves pottery, reading, gardening cooking and has recently discovered a love of stained-glass artwork. At home, Alana has a chatty tuxedo cat named Daisy; Benny, her long-legged little man; Charlie, her west highland terrier; a fish named Greg; and a snail named Jolene. She would also like to remember her sweet Jerome, “Jerry,” an orange tabby that was the most special companion she has ever had who passed last year at the old age of 21.

Kennedy enjoys hiking and spending her free time with her fur babies pictured above.
Lyza
Technician
Lyza graduated from Simmons College in 2015 with a degree in Nutrition and volunteered with animals in her free time. After working in her field, she realized that she wanted to make working with animals her full-time job, not just her free time. She was responsible for convincing her parents to adopt two dogs and four cats (over the years) from the shelter. In her spare time, she still volunteers at an animal rescue. She and her fiancé live in Ipswich, always with a foster cat or two.
Brooke

Brooke went to Essex Aggie in high school and attended four years of the veterinary technician program, where she got to work closely with small animals, such as rodents, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and reptiles, as well as large animals and livestock. There, she got her certificate in pet CPR as well as pet first aid and OSHA certification. At home, she loves spending time with her one-year-old Yorkie, Ryah.

Megan is part of our veterinary technician team at Andover. She is newer to the industry but brings lots of passion and interest in the areas of exotics and helping treat reptiles specifically. Alex
Technician
Alex started her veterinary career in 2005, as an equine veterinary assistant at Golden Spike Equine in Ogden, UT. Alex took time away from vet med to travel the world and establish herself as a telehealth revenue cycle management guru. Her time in the corporate world has not been in vain, as Alex has come to realize that her days are best spent serving lives of all kinds in a more direct fashion. In 2023, she re-entered the veterinary space and is thrilled to expand her skill set to small animal practice. An action-oriented individual, and avid equestrian, Alex can be found seeking out adrenaline filled amusements. She has a special place in her heart for brachycephalic pups but loves all creatures great & small. This includes Push Me Pull You’s for those that are familiar with Fleischer’s 1967 rendition of Doctor Doolittle.
