Outpatient Services
Most of our outpatient services are included in the many talents and training of Our Staff. In brief, we see patients from newborn through their final days. Our benchmark is Care and Concern, especially in trying times, to help YOU make the best decisions for you and your pet.

Obviously, we would prefer that all we had to see were patients for routine health maintenance such as:
  • initial puppy/kitten and new critter exams, and vaccinations (where needed)
  • yearly health exams, twice yearly for senior pets.
  • vaccinations (where needed)
  • neutering (Ovariohysterectomy or spay, and Orchidectomy or neuter) as indicated.
Of course, we deal with all problems - from physical to behavioral.

Also, we see many species, including:
  • Dogs
  • Cats
  • Ferrets
  • Rabbits
  • "Pocket Pets" including: Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Rats, Mice, Chinchilla, etc.
  • Birds
  • Reptiles, including Iguanas, Snakes, Lizards, etc.
For the more exotic species, please schedule an appointment with a doctor who sees that species.

For your convenience, our outpatient services include:
  • Large Reception area for your comfort, with pleasant staff to greet you, and convenient amenities such as a clean and easily accessible restroom, and hooks at the reception desk to free dog owners' hands.

  • Individual Exam and Consultation Rooms - windows and a glass door for a comfortable, non-claustrophobic feel. The dogs don't feel trapped and usually look out of the door, and the cats love the window sills.

  • Emergency/Exotic/Special Procedures Room - able to be darkened (necessary often for birds and eye exams), and more flexible with pass-thru guerney access. Also is used when more privacy is needed.

  • Pharmacy - a wide range of drugs applicable to small animal medicine

  • Laboratory - with trained technicians and modern equipment for fast, accurate tests

  • Crematory For those who desire it, we are able to deal with a pets' final disposition on our premises, including the saving of the ashes.

  • Gurney for convenience with non-ambulatory animals

  • Ultrasound/Echocardiography - usually done by leaving your pet for a few hours

  • Hills and SelectCare Prescription Diets, IVD, Science Diet, SelectBalance & some IAMS foods available for your convenience and your pets health

  • Group Tours available upon request.
