We provide (or arrange for) 24-hour emergency coverage for our patients. After hours, simply call our regular number (978-475-3600). An answering machine will then direct you.
If your pet is already hospitalized, we have overnight nursing care every night.
(NOTE: non-emergency messages can also be left at a menu extension which will be picked up the next morning.)
Because of staffing difficulties, we do not always cover emergencies ourselves, however, in those instances where we do not, we will direct you to a qualified emergency service with whom we will closely correspond when we next open, and will usually be able to transfer the patient to our clinic if desired. Our facility is, however, fully equipped to handle all sorts of emergencies, from Automobile Accidents to Heart Failure, including select quick lab results from the high tech I-Stat machine, and of course oxygen therapy, IV therapy, Radiographs (x-rays), etc..
